I know lots of folks here have beautiful examples of Leanna's automotive art work. Just wanted to make a space for people to share her work with others.

That's a awesome idea. I hope that there's lots of photos shared of her art.

Great idea Mike. All I have is her poster that sits proudly in my shop.

I’d like to start….

I don’t know if yall remember, but about 10 years ago, Leanna started a program here geared towards the young guns of our hobby. It was an interactive donation process where members would donate items for her to give out as a monthly prize for any young gun who posted their story in her thread. After a year of giving away prizes to our great young guns, she decided to have one last grand prize drawing. Well, long story short, my daughter CudaGirl won the grand prize, which also included a gift certificate for powder coating my the Mistress herself.

Now, I was also running a game show thread of sorts with our members Princess Valiant and 4speedragtop, we were all redoing our dashes from our 67-69 Barracudas. I pulled out all the stops and enlisted Leanna to do the powder coating on Nellas dash, and the fruits of her labor can be seen right here. Not only that, she also powder coated her a keychain to match the color Nella wanted her car to be painted.

You see, that’s the kind of wonderful soul Leanna was, always helping others, doing top notch work on her customers projects, and just being the best friend all of us could have. Nella and I have always held a special place in our hearts for her, and we were all set to meet her at the Indy Mopar show one year, but she couldn’t make it. I wish we could’ve met her that weekend, it was the most special time because all of our great friends were there, and she was sorely missed by us all.

May this wonderful lady Rest In Peace, she touched so many hearts along her way in this world, and we will always be thankful that we can be counted among the many friends she had. We love you Leanna, and we always will!

I've known Leanna for at least 20 years from the old BOG (Barracuda Owners Group), although we never met in person I considered her a friend, we spoke on the phone many times.

Back in 2011 when I was restoring the CHP 1969 Polara I had her do the air cleaner and all the under hood black bits.

That dash is just awesome looking, I'd say it looks better than new. The quality is over the top.

Leanna did a pair of my valve covers over 10 years ago. They still look like new. (of course) I think they are the ones in one of her videos. I feel lucky to have something to remember her by.

Yep, that was textbook Leanna. She even did the inside of the ashtray. Her work was amazing, just like her spirit and commitment to everything she did. She’s gonna be missed in this hobby, and sorely missed by all that knew her. She was truly one of a kind!

I meant to comment on how good the inside of the ashtray looked, I think it all looked better than new. From what I've read about Leanna she was a first glass person, one who cared a great deal about others. RIP Leanna

Nicest parts on my car, even better cause they're done by a friend. Rest well, Leanna, miss you already!

Those multi color project were her specialty and did a exceptional job on them.

I know that the family is going through a lot at this time and I respect that, but from the work I've seen that Leanna did I hope that someone will continue the tradition.

I always wanted Leanna to do me up one of the early slant 6 ribbed valve covers like an American flag, but of course money was always the issue. I did however get her to do something for me. It's a magnetic bracelet. It's "Highland Green" with some kinda sparkly orange over it. It turned really nice and the kicker.....she refused to charge me anything because she said I was always recommending her for work here and elsewhere and she had actually gotten some jobs because of those recommendations. Typical Leanna. When she could do somebody a favor, she did.

Leanna was also known to help out other powder coating companies just starting out. She talked to an outfit here in Texas and imparted many useful tips to them. RIP Leanna!

I might have missed it , but what did she die of ?
Agree she was way too young !!

She passed away from cancer on 11-30-2024, it's was posted originally by RRR I believe.

Sorry, I went hunting for pics of Leannas work here on Fabo and am reposting. These are not mine or from me. One thing I haven't seen posted about here is her brain! VERY smart lady that previously worked for a law office. You knew whatever she chose to do, she would be successful at it.
RIP Lee
