Leaving work early to pick up my 5.7

Well I have been looking on the craigs list thingy for a few weeks after my last 5.7 fell through and I have finally found another smoking deal on an 03 truck motor. Has a slight rod knck but with my plans of doing a 392 Stroker this doesn't bother me one bit. SO I will post pictures when I get it home.

Well here is the new heart of the beast. 03 truck 5.7 hemi with 81k on her that someone was going to let go to the scrapper if I hadn't picked it up.

this last picture is a heat tab that junkyards put on motors they want to warranty so I know this is the 3rd time this engine will be finding a new home.

She has a spun rod bearing so I got her real cheap

Will I'm going old School on the trans I'm going to run the A-833OD I got a few weeks ago. Figure with my huge tires and a 3.73 gear I can cruise at 70 at about 2500rpm
