I've noticed that memike has a fondness for the color Lemon Twist Yellow, and has asked many times if that car is Lemon Twist. Just for you mike, here's some lemon... (not my cars tho :()

Paint Code FY1 - introduced in 1970, available 71, 72, 73.

Dodge name - Top Banana
Plymouth name - Lemon Twist

Wow !! There is no y5 lemon twist!!:toothy9:
It was about twenty year ago and I have always
thought the gallon of paint I bought was y5.
Could plymouth use the letters y5 or was I remembering wrong.
I am a shade tree painter and the color always looked nice and
hid some of my not so perfect body work.
I painted my 70 barracuda lemon twist using enamel.
Wet sand and buffed any bugs in it and it always looked to good.:glasses8:
My brother and I painted his 73 rally challenger the same color .
Thanks for the info and you are correct .
I love lemon twist and it go's good with Tequila.
Thanks OneOfMany =D>

I did some further checking and you are correct in that there is a Y5 Yellow available. It was used in 74-75 (at least) and both Plymouth and Dodge referred to it as Yellow Blaze. Not to sure how it would go with Tequila, but I'm sure it tastes fine with gin :)
