Sometimes when I go through the gears I hear a ticking. After a few minutes it goes away. It doesn't do it all the time. It has me stumped. The cam is a MoPar Performance and the lifters are Comp Cam. I have taken the valve covers off. Rocker arms all move the same. So it must not have rounded a lobe. It is a hydraulic. Is it a sticking lifter?

Please don't take ofense but, is the oil level up where it is supposed to be?

If you have hearders it could be a hearder leak? They will do that as they heat up and cool down starting and stopping. Ther best way to correct this is by installing double gaskets.

I have the remflex gaskets. They seem not to leak. I noticed the engine doesn't skip either when this happens.
