I just installed a line lock that will not lock the front tires. I have the
outlet of the master cylinder going to the inlet of the line lock. The outlet
of the line lock to the inlet of the proportioning valve that feeds the front
brakes. I hold the brake pedal down, hit the switch, let off the brakes and
front brakes will not hold. The solenoid valve is good and I have checked
power to the valve. Do I need to tee into the front brakes after the pro-
portioning valve? The car is a 72 Demon with kelsey-hayes manual brakes.
I appreciate your input to properly install this.

i am interested to. i have never done it but what i have seen it is controlled by a seperate switch idk tho

Would you be so kind to post a few pictures showing the install?

Was it a used unit or new, Can you hear the valve pop when you energize it. It doesn't matter that it is before the Valve, I've ran them both ways. The only function of the valve is to block the fluid from returning to the master cylinder when engaged. Unless the valve is stuck which happens when a used unit sits around for a while.

Line lock now works. I found out the line lock was originally purchased
from Summit. I called their tech line and they said to plumb line lock
after proportioning valve. I did that last night and it works properly.
I did find out something today. I tried it today and it did not work at first.
I had a very slight leak on one of the outlets that was plugged on the line
lock.I tightened it up re-checked for leaks and everything is fine.Evidently
if you have the slightest leak. it appears it will effect the line lock. Maybe
the install before the prop valve will work, because I had a very tiny leak
in one of the plugged outlets before and it did not function, even though
the brakes were bled and the brakes did pump up. Thanks for your input.
