Lockup to non-lockup question(s)

-
Is there a 904 with lockup option? Typically how many rpms would lock up drop? If this is an option , is this a bolt in (no crossmember/ driveshaft mods) option? Thank you
Yes. Can't say about rpm there are variables. This is a viable option, but need to know what engine. The engine must be a 1968 or newer slant six or V-8 (or crank must be 68 or newer). Other than that it is a "drop-in". Trans must be non computer controled 904/998/999.

Is the pilot for the 68 or newer larger or smaller in the crank? I will search it but is there a thread on this that you can point me to? Sorry to anyone if this is hijacking this thread.

Be nice to be around 2500 on hwy at 60-65 mph. Current tires are bfg 245/60/15. So over 26".
Cam is wanting more rpm's, so a converter change and possible gear change as well.(both slightly).
U should be right at 2300 rpm with 3.23 gears and a 26 inch tire. Not sure what u have going on

For my 67 904 verter to mount up to 340, I needed a spacer/bushing that was approx 1.58 I'd and 1.80 od.

Also u should have no problem cruising that cam at 2000 rpm. Something has to be off. Cam may need to be advanced as well as more ignition timing. Kim
