Lokar Kickdown Kit + Shifter Cable Bracket & Lever Kit

I need to order a kickdown kit for my 904 (318 with Edelbrock). I came across a PDF file showing how the Lokar kit needs to be installed. It seems like the bracket & lever kit for my shifter will be in the way. Has anyone installed the Lokar kit with a shifter cable?

I just installed a cable shifted assembly yesterday just like the Jegs picture, and I don't see how it could not be in the way.
 
Not sure what you mean there.
The pictured bracket is part of the cable shifter kit.
The Locar stuff looks like it would interfere.
 
do you have a pic of your setup? I jsut put it on a 727 trans and it fit perfect...no issues

I just wanted to know if the bracket was just for illustration purposes.

I was thinking it may interfere as well. My kickdown bracket is straight with little room above the cable.
