How does the end connect to stock pedal..seems like wrong clevis

How did you address the firewall? The end of the sheath has nothing to rest against on my firewall (71 Duster), as the opening is too big. I used two pieces of sheet metal with a hole drilled in the same size as the threaded portion and it worked, but it seems butch to me. Any insight would be great!
 
not sure exactly what you are asking. i put a stainless washer against the firewall and put the threaded part the cable slides into through the firewall and then you just screw the nut onto it from inside the car.

Was asking how you reduced the size of the firewall hole, we did basically the same thing
 
here ya go. this is our dart set up.

watch ya have slack in the cable. you want full throttle but you also dont want it to try and rio the carb off the intake when the pedal hits the floor. it will stress the cable after time and possibly break it.
