Hey gang! I've stopped by once and a while to soak up the A-body rays over the last few years, but now that a slant-six section has been added, I couldn't resist anymore.

I've got two Darts: the popular choice, a rust-free 67' Dart GT convertible, 273 auto, and my sad, pathetic little baby, a '72 Swinger. She's got some rust in the worst areas (from where the vinyl top collected water near the front and rear glass), but she's got the Kelsey Hayes disc brakes and a fresh, new long-rod 225 I haven't broken in yet (don't ask), and a stiffened suspension.

I waffle between small-blocks and slants, but my dream would be the best of both worlds: a turbo slant with a 5-speed.

I've spent a lot of time over at slantsix.org, but can't reach it from work anymore, so you guy might have to put up with me once in a while... :)

Welcome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome, I think a Turboed /6 & 5-speed woul be a rocket. If someone made a kit for this, just think how many /6 A-bodies would be hotrodded!

I don't know about kits, but I was involved in a group buy over at .org. We had a batch of 4-spd slant bellhousings modified to run a Mustang T-5. Still have to come up with clutch linkage and fabricate a lower crossmember and notch the upper crossmember, but here's hoping someday...

There's also a guy named MPGMike who puts together turbo setups for slants. I think these are as close as you'll get to "kits".

The Supercharger Store has a blower kit for the slant. It's not cheap, but if I had the $$$$, and was willing to give up my power steering... Contact them if you've got $3-4K to spare!
