I know there's a forum for this, so hopefully I'm not too out of line, but I figured the hemi guys might see this more easily here and be able to help me out. I'm looking for a truck front cover for my 5.7 so I can get the engine all buttoned up and ready to go in the car once I get the rest of the parts I need. I have a car timing cover I would happily trade straight across for the truck cover, or you can let me know a price and I'll see what I can do. Additionally, I'm happy to sell the car cover outright if someone out there needs it. I also have a car intake manifold from an 06 Charger that I'd be happy to sell. It's still got the fuel rails, injectors, and throttle body on it, but I'm keeping the MAP sensor for my new intake, so that's the only thing missing.
 
I guess one of the main reasons I was posting here was that I would really like to trade someone straight across for one as opposed to buying and selling. I would really rather not have two covers sitting around my house until I can get one sold since money is tight enough as is.

Do you want a truck intake also? Im up for trading.
 
Not looking for the truck intake at the moment. Planning to go carb for now so I don't have to overhaul the whole fuel system. I have enough of a wiring nightmare to sort out when I pull the old engine as well, don't need the extra computer wires in there too, lol.
 
Well at least you'll eliminate a few wires by going carb, and I'm right there with ya on wiring.
 
Yeah, when whoever swapped the 318 in before I got the car did it, it looks like they took the whole wiring harness from the donor car too. Most of the wires line up at the firewall, but the horn setup is messed up and I have some extra marker lights up front. The starter wires are also about 3 feet too long and it looks like they have an auto trans harness even though the car is a stick. Not to mention they also added electronic ignition to the bundle. Looking forward to pulling all the stuff out and cleaning it up when I swap the engine.
 
I've got a truck cover and the accessories for you. The car accessories are different than the truck ones. I have the whole shabang with the bolts and water pump as well. You'll get everything you need to button it up.

Oh and yes, I'm willing to trade. :)

Talking with GDemon now, pretty sure I have it worked out, but thanks for the offer. I'll keep you in mind in case something doesn't work out.
