What do you think a 1975 Dart sport, /6, a/c, 7 1/4 rear, is worth. Other than a couple of small dents in the drivers fender the car is EXTREMELY clean and original. There is absolutely no rust at all as it has been garaged its entire life. The guy said he wants $3000 but I think I could get him to $2500. The car is all original light green paint and interior. I would be putting a 340 and 904 into it. What do you think it is worth.

I think $2500.00 is a good price. For $3000.00 I think you would be doing OK too if the body is as clean as you say. Jim

2000.00 2200.00 at the very most. Don't plan to double your money back regardlees how much drivetrain you put in it. Those pointed nose, extended bumper, models aren't as highly popular or desired as pre 73 models.
73 was a tranistion year. Safety and emiisions took priority over styling and performance. These things are still priorities today but they are incoperated in the styling rather than added on to the traditional or existing styling.

last fall i bought my 76 dart sport for $500 in great shape other than the weathered paint its an all org. slant 6 car

Thanks for the quick replies. I was thinking the same thing regarding the pointy nose. I do have another option. I have been looking at a 70 dart, 2 door, /6, auto, light green with black interior. The car is unmolested and driven almost daily by the guy. The only rust/rot on the car is the drivers side floor and passenger side lower quarter panel.(approx 2 inches of rust). I could get this car for $1800.

Sold mine 3 years ago for $1000 w/ 318 w/ 360 J heads & 8 3/4. It was DA'd down so you could see exactly how clean it was. The only damage to the car was the right rear quarter had rubbed something and taken the body line off of it. Other than that, there was no damage what so ever and the car was complete other than primer and paint.

IMO, I'd say that's a little high for a later A-body, but if you really want it then it's worth ever you want to offer.
