I remember back in the day as a kid. You’d see these advertised in comic books and JC Whitney. You could even get one through JC Penny.

Cool, I always liked them. But buying a donor, I think will kill the deal. That stuff (like everything), is expensive today. (And a lot harder to find.)

There was one in the old country, little different. Manx had the VW belly pan shortened 14" if I remember right, well this one had that 14" and 12" more cut out . Course the body was shortened to match. Handled like a go kart. Tap the throttle in 1st gear, instant wheelie .
