Looking for engine and 727 transmission out of my 1968 gts dart vin LS23P8E157355. Car was built in Los Angeles, CA. Car was from texas then it was shipped to PA before I got it. Finders fee for information leading to reuniting engine and transmission to the car.

The stampings on top of the bell flanges would read 8E 157355 then. So with the partial VINs typed out like that, if anyone 'googles' your partial VIN on an engine or transmission they have, it should now lead them to this post.

I just noticed your location... are you on the west side of the bridge not far from the Mennonite church?
 
I don't know where a menonite church is by me but I am on the west side of a bridge. Close to the state line, near youngstown ohio.
 
Ah, OK. PA place names repeat often. (Just how many roads are named 'Mountain Road' are here anyway? )

There is a Mopar guy in the other Middlesex near Carlisle.
 
Still looking, finders fee paid for information leading to the purchase of engine and transmission as well as paperwork and previous owners.
