Lost spark in space

So I'm confused to say the least. I pulled a perfectly running distributor. It originally came out of a late 70s Truck converted with pertronix 111 and put in a 87 318 in a 68 fury 111. It came out for intake, fitec, and headers. I get spark going in the cap but nothing coming out. So I put new cap and rotor and no change. Anyone know where my spark has gone?

How do you know you have spark in the cap?

I have spark out of the coil wire

shot in the dark - are you sure you have the distributor in correctly (not 180 degrees off)? and are you sure you have the wires in the correct locations? If you don't already have it, go buy one of these

bad module - bad ground...? have you attempted to contact Pertronix?

Is the rotor turning when the motor is turned over?
Is the rotor in the distributor?

@MOPARMITCH just had a bad one, sent it back they replaced it.

bad module - bad ground...? have you attempted to contact Pertronix?

If that was the case wouldn't the coil not fire

Yes and yes. Even got a new one
