they WOULD work, but the sway bar brackets for the 73-up cars are in the middle of the control arms, not the ends like the ones shown here...so, a sway bar wouldnt work..

Correct, they will physically bolt on, but you would need an earlier sway bar.

From what I understand that the Lower control arms that are for sale will only fit a 72 or under. The suspension changed for 73 and up.

The '72 and earlier sway bar is wider than the '73 and later. The LCA mounts are in a different place. I really don't need that hassle.

I just found a company that manufactures a gizmo that you don't need the tabs..

Actually, I found the site on FABO..I saved it somewhere safe..when I find it, I will post but something tells me it is Hotchkiss but I cannot remember.

I am told by hotchkis, that the below can be welded on to your lca so you can install a sway bay with out buying a new lca with tabs.

They will , of course, need a bit of fabrication.
