So I finally got off my *** and am doing the guage bypass http://www.madelectrical.com/electricaltech/amp-gauges.shtml

Im wonderring if I really have to connect the other end of the black wire that passes through the bulkhead connector Or if I can just make it like I have in the pic. (in blue)?
If the red wire goes from the starter relay and it feeds the black from the guage it's still getting power to everything right?

I only put one wire drilled through my bulkhead connector. You can tie the red and black wire together under the dash and have one wire going through the bulkhead from the starter relay powering everything.

Cool, Right now I have one red wire going from the relay into the firewall through an old hole I had for the amp. I didn't really want any wires passing through the bulkhead connector that wouldn't come undone if the plug is taken out. Thanks Goody!!!

I just got done doing this mod. to my scamp and all I have to say is DAMN!!! If you haven't done this yeat DO IT!!!
