Magnum 5.9 cam swap details

Long story short I have to get a 5.9 together in a hurry. I have the hughes drop in valve spring kit and a reground cam. I kind of figure I will need pushrods. Will I need to cut down the tops of the valve guides?
Am I forgetting something.
This will be a weekend refresh,bearings,timing set,gaskets etc because it has to be running next week, so going to the machine shop is not an option.

Cam specs are below.

The kit shows up to .620 lift with no machining. But with that being said, I would still check the assembled retainer and valve assemblies with checking springs anyway while it's apart. Better to catch any potential problems before they catch you.

Check the base circle on your reground cam, you may be able to ballpark some off the shelf pushrods to get you on the road.

How much lifter preload you setting them at?
