Anybody hooked up the magnum a/c to a car that had original a/c. It looks like to me you can buy all new magnum a/c components pretty reasonable. Th only real problem would be hooking up the hoses at the firewall. Does anybody make adapters or would it have to be special made hoses.

i posted on the turbo post and it should have been on this one. check your local napa or tractor dealer. our new holland dealer makes all kinds of specialty hoses.

I used a Magnum compressor and sourced the rest of the underhood stuff from Nostalgic Air in Florida. The under dash stuff came from Vintage Air for their Gen IV unit and controls. The hose ends are readiliy available locally or from various vendors on-line.

I use a local/regional Parker Hannefin dealer/hose shop to make AC lines. They stock fittings, can crimp hoses and can also weld aluminum fittings. Useful for doing stuff like you're talking about. I usually take the car up there so the hoses can be crimped in the correct orientation!

Have to find a local shop to do what I want, I guess. Thanks for all of input
