So I noticed 2 sets of timing Mark's on my eBay used magnum balancer.
So, as I am assembling the short block I put a late LA timing cover on to verify the drivers side marks were in the same place as the Magnum cover.
They were.
That's when I noticed a second mark at about 10 o'clock.
So after getting the heads and valve train on I set the crank at 10 degrees before TDC to set up the distributor.
And sure enough, when I installed the early 273 timing cover without moving the crank I found this!!!
