Magnum crate motor valve train noise

I have had both the 300 hp crate and the 380 hp crate motors lifter or lifters tick sound, just wondering why these valve trains are noisy.

Could be the camshafts. If they are a really fast rate, they are kinda rough on the valve train. Smack valves open and slam them shut. All that will make noise.

Ok I’m just not that familar with hyd roller cam. Just thought they would be quieter.

It's all dependent on who grinds them and what lobe and "all that there stuff".

My Magnum 300 is occasionally noisy too...or maybe I only notice it occasionally.
I don't have any insight as to why but it's another point of anecdotal evidence...
