Hi, will the stainless steel tubular header from a 5.9 magnum fit a LA engine? and if so will these pipes work in a 75 A-body with 318-360? thanks , mark

Magnum exhaust ports are small like 273/318 heads. Some early 340/360 heads have exhaust ports that are larger. You should check if using the early 340/360 heads.

Well, what chassis were the headers designed for?
If you're talking about the cheapo $200 shorty internet specials advertised for Dakotas and Ram trucks, then no- they do not fit an A body. The passenger side may, but the driver's side tries to take up the same real estate as the steering box and column.

these are the factory dakota pipes, mark
Cast iron manifolds from the factory in every Magnum Dak/Ram/van that I've ever seen or heard of. Even the Dak R/T, which it would have to have been, since you say it was a 5.9 Dak.

I would almost bet money they wont .
Look at the rear dump exit,,,,it is way back behind the rear port tube .
I think you will run into firewall clearance there .
