magnum head gaskets?

When converting to magnum heads on an LA block do you order head gaskets for the LA engine or the magnum engine? Part numbers are different.

Doesn't matter. The only difference is the head oil feed holes in the LA gasket. It all boils down to do you want to block the head oil feeds with the head or a gasket.

Hmm.What about intake gaskets?

If your putting mags on an la block and using a mag intake,I'd guess you need mag intake gaskets.

I used the .028 thick Mopar gaskets. They're listed for an LA motor but work fine.

Yes if you are using magnum heads and a magnum intake you need magnum intake gaskets. If you have redrilled the head sto accept an LA intake then you need LA intake gaskets.
