I've got a line on a low mileage 97 5.9 Magnum to use in my 6cyl 73 Scamp. I'd like to keep things as simple as possible. My plan is to use an intake and carb. I'd like to avoid changing the stock cam which, I assume, would involve needing an electric fuel pump. Where can I get info on how to properly set up the electric fuel pump system for it?

If you are going carbureted and don't want to do a cam swap, you just need an LA accessory setup and timing cover, and an adapter for the cam snout to hold the fuel pump eccentric. If you want to keep the Magnum timing cover, just go with a decent street electric fuel pump. Some street electric pumps still require an external fuel pressure regulator. As for intake manifold, there is a dual plane M1 for sale in the mechanical parts section on this site that would work nicely with a stock engine and camshaft.

if you want to use a mechanical fuel pump, then you can change the timing cover over to a LA style cover and bolt on a cam snout extension like the one Hughes sells. Though this will mean that you will also loose the serpentine set up on the Magnum engine.

I see you're new here. Lots of good info on this sight. Just check out the Magnum swap section, and the air and fuel section.
Lots of people here have done magnum swaps, and have lots of good info, including me.
Have fun

I guess I was overthinking the electric fuel pump. Sounds like it's not too difficult.
I'd like to stay with the serpentine accessories if possible. The donor has A/C and the Scamp doesn't so it will take some reworking and which ps pump to use to figure out too. I'm glad I found this forum.

Forum software is doing some weird stuff.
Magnumswap.com is a good resource...the direct link doesn’t seem to be working...

The Magnum power steering pump works with the Mopar power steering, but you will need to change the high pressure hose to match the Magnun output fitting on the pump. Also, I chose to run a narrower battery and cut the battery tray down a bit to clear the Magnum pump on the serpentine set-up. Others go to the trouble of finding and installing a van pump mount to relocate the pump.

I eventually added the Vintage Air inside car kit to take advantage of the Magnum A/C pump. I ran it with the pump not plumbed for several years prior to that.

The magnum van power steering brackets fits perfect. It's a direct bolt on and clears the frame rail and battery tray with room to spare. The truck pump and pulley can be used with the van bracket. I got the bracket with pump and pulley at a self service salvage yard for $36 if I rememer correctly. Took about 15 minutes to pull it with hand tools. It's pretty easy access. The stock A body high pressure hose is a direct fit too. The parts store offers two different hoses. I THINK that one is for a federal style pump and the other is for the Saginaw style pump. Just make sure you get those hose with an O-ring fitting on the end.

You will have to use an A/C compressor or buy the A/C delete bracket from any parts store. The van pump brackets sits so low that the belt won't work without the A/C pulley. Masterpro belt #K071013 is a great fit with the van pump and A/C delete pulley.

Make sure that the intake you get has the thermostat housing offset the the passenger side like the stock magnum manifold. Some of the intakes have the old LA thermostat placement which interferes with the magnum serpentine A/C location. I used and edelbrock 7577 intake that works perfect with the serpentine setup. There are other (cheaper) options also.

Just about any low pressure fuel pump will work for a stock engine. I'm using a $30 Summit brand fuel pump that works fine. I used a pressure regulator inline up by the carb.
