Magnum throttle cable?

Hey guys,

I’m working on finishing up my magnum swap and I’m not quite sure what to do with my throttle cable. The inner braided cable appears to be too long, I was able to make the cable jacket clip into the gas pedal bracket. I’m thinking about maybe cutting the excess braided cable and attaching a new cable stop?

Any recommendations?

Clip it right at the end and use a cable stop to determine your optimal length. Then trim the excess off.

Tip: A little solder or braze in the area of your cuts will keep the cable from fraying.
