Hi everybody, I was just wondering if anybody here has dealt with mailing parts to France? There is someone that lives in France that asked me about producing a hood emblem for a 1963 Dodge Dart GT, so I figured it out and now it is complete and need to send it to him. It is a very small part that weighs less than 1 Oz. But it is about 3/8" thick by 2"x2", and I am not sure if I can just put it in a letter envelope or need to box it up. If anybody has sent things over there, please give me some pointers. Thanks

As a former USPS employee, in a past life, my suggestion is to package anything as if a tractor tire will fall on it. Because there is a very good chance that a tractor tire will fall on it. Trust me a tractor tire gives zero ***** about what you have in that package.

I package everything as if it's going to a war zone.

I would double box it traveling that far.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the hood emblem if you don’t mind posting a picture.
