Hi 64bluefish, I have replaced my (lower seals) before. The differance being mine was power and I was able to let the fluid blow out the seals. If I remember correctly there are 3 seals plus a end washer. A internal surclip holds everything up. You may be able to use a set of tweezers (with the end bent) to pry them down one at a time. If not a cheep small seal puller (like a cork screw) will work. I found getting the new ones on, I had to put one up at a time using a deep socket (lightly taping) each until I could put the sirclip back in. The biggest hold-up was droping all the linkage.
