I am not 100% sure. The difference would be on the input shaft. 67 and later are .750 36 spline. I think I still have a 65 manual box that I can check tonight.

FYI - The difference between early '62-'66 and later '67-'76 manual steering boxes is in the output shaft diameter (where Pitman arm attaches) and NOT the input shaft (where steering column attaches) as noted in earlier posts.

my apologies to killerslant and the forum in general. I dug out an early and late manual steering box and both the input and output shafts are larger diameter on the '67-'76 boxes when compared to the '62-'66 boxes. Forgive the old dude memory seems to be failing.
