Map Light/Rear defogger

Good Morning,

I have a couple questions on a 71 Duster about a map light and rear window defogger, the owner before me changed the dash frame out due to the original being hacked up for a car stereo. I bought this car just based off pictures and did never asked the owner about the map light, if it was original or added later.

It has a switch on the left side of the dash, picture enclosed, could anyone point out where the light is located if you have this switch on your car?

Also I am installed a rear window defogger and if anyone has that setup, where would I located the toggle switch to operate that? Would it go nect to the map light switch? I am adding this to this car as it did not come on it originally.

The map light should locate on the passenger side, under the right side of the dash. Odd place to put the light, but that is where it is on my '72.
Not sure about the rear window defroster.

Thank you for the reply, looks to be what i found on the passenger side, harness is a little short so I modify to fit

Looks like I need to order a glove box too lol, I'm thinking this other is for the glove box light.

The glovebox lite attaches on the right side of the glovebox, but not to the glovebox. Should be a switch and a lite. Opaque plastic round window snaps into the side of the cardboard box. I am not at home, if you need a picture, can do later. Let me know.

My swinger in in pieces right now but it has the defroster(window grid) from the factory and I took a picture of where it mounts.

The two switches are effectively installed side by side on the left side of the dashboard.

Okay, don't know if this will help. The glovebox switch/ light has one wire off the middle side, it's got a short wire bullet connector. Seems to be grounded through the round hole that the switch/light is snapped into through the dash. Hope this helps, I would have to take the glovebox and switch out for better pictures.
