Might be sidelined for Carlisle!

After waiting a whole year for Carlisle to roll around again i managed to injure myself a week before and now i might not make it!:angry7:
I managed to drop a brand new full can of chassis paint on my foot Sun. afternoon,woke up Mon. with a swollen and aching foot.
Everyone seems to think it might be broken but i really don't wanna go to the Dr.,i been gimpin around all week at work with it but i think walking all day at Carlisle might be more than i can handle!
Guess i'll just have to see how it feels come Sat. morning then decide from there.
 
I'd wrap it up tight in a boot, and use crutches. Or maybe it's time to hit up an elder with a adult powerwheels and ride around.
 
Sounds like a good excuse to buy a cooler with a motor. I ve been wanting one of those.
 
Well that sucks!!! I'll be going down Saturday, I wanted to go tomorrow but I got too much work. Let me know if you want to ride along.

You pulled a transmission out of a truck reinstalled it and didn't get hurt and this happens? j/k

Yeah I hope it's not broke. Stay off of it and rent one of those scooters things to get around at Carlisle.

Yep this is how my luck and sometimes my life goes!

Looks like i'll be sitting out Carlisle this year for sure,gimped around work all day and now it's swollen so much it's pushing my shoe out!
I hate going to Dr.'s but if it soon doesn't get any better i may have to bite the bullet and go.
I guess there's always next year.:angry7:

Time for a X-ray. I hope you get a good looking nurse. The last time I got a X-ray I got a drop dead good looking little honey. She was married though. Dang it!:angry7:
 
Kev, are you trying to get out of work again? You will have to do better than that, they don't give you much time off for foot injuries when you work on your feet all day. Stands up to logic doesn't it. LOL I hope your foot's O.K. soon. I can see it now, you will soon be required to wear steel toed boots at the parts counter.

I'm trying to get out of work Jack but it's not working i didn't get anytime off!
Besides i did it at home not work this time while i was working on the Duster fender.
 
I just had a carshow flashback. Remember back in the late 80's when barstools with a motor were all over the shows? Take a barstool, some wheels, and a motor with a side shaft (old pressure washer motor works good) pretty much your just building a go kart under a bar stool. You can even tow a wagon behind it. You have 2 days to build it and I bet you can find all the stuff on Craigslist for free or damn cheap!
