mini tubs

Hey guys how about some in put on cut my rear wheel wells to put a mini tib in. I'm to cheap to buy a plamsa cutter, any one have a better idea than a 3" cut off wheel or saw zaw .I just want to cut out 1 1/2" to 2" to make the inner side even with the frame rail. By the way this project is on my 67 cuda.I would love to hear the right and wrong way to do it.

Cutoff wheel and sawzall is the way to go. Plasma cutters don't work very well with painted or dirty metal.
