Is it 1/64 or 1/87?

Menards markets lots of building for 1/87 HO trains.

IIRC all of those vehicles pictured above have been offered in both 1/87 and 1/64 at one time.

Putting 1/64 cars in a 1/87 building might be a stretch.

I saw one of these at the local Menards and I thought it was O gauge. It looked larger than HO to me, but I didn't check it out real closely.

Fury Motors is a real dealership here in Minnesota, a member here works there and runs the body shop. The building doesn’t look anything like that, but my friend said there use to be a 57 Fury cut in half and was hanging on the wall for display…the lights would come on and the wheels would turn….it’s long gone now. Neat place though, I’ve been there and there are still many vintage things to see.

I seen these last week at Menards here, they had the dealership but wow it’s expensive….but so cool!!

Looks like there is one in St Paul and one in Stillwater. I thought there was one a little north of the twin cities on hwy 65. Maybe that was from my past life. Lol. Yeah, it was $149 when I saw it.

There are no Menards in Colorado. The nearest one is a 6 hour drive.

Pourquoi !!!!

like i said, if im not mistaken

ill remove that post, thanks
I was trying to be helpful not so much trying to be rude.

That is one post, I wish you could have seen my lovingly expression.

I do really think 1:64 hotwheels work well with 1:87 HO. You can always put the 1:64 items closer to the point of viewing to make an illusion of distance.

So 1:48 and 1:64 will probably work the same way.

Hotwheels are approximately 1/64, usually scaled up or down to fit the standard packaging.

To my eyes and many others a 1/64 vehicle sticks out like a sore thumb in a 1/87 environment unless it's something like specific types of construction equipment.

In model train vernacular- 1/64 is "S" scale, right between HO (1/87) and O (1/48).
