Well I picked up the local newspaper today & glanced at the classifieds. For sale 1974 Dart V-8, auto, 33000 miles, $1500.00. Wow you can guess the outcome, SOLD! The older gentleman had listed the ad on Monday to run for the week. It sold on monday. It was a 4-door, base Dart with air. The owner had bought it locally new. I was already dreaming of making a sleeper out of it. I just thought I would pass this on.
 
Keep your eyes open. There are still deals out there. Sometimes when you least expect it. Mike

Thanks for reminding me. There's a `74 Dart 2dr. sitting with For Sale signs on it in my neighborhood. It's a nice & clean brown metallic /tan interior deal with NO RUST. Kinda tempting me......When it was first parked 3 months ago it had a price of $3,200. I checked out the underside and body: SOLID. It's a 6/auto, but who cares.... I can removed that sorry lump and stick my motor in for a gentle break-in over the winter while the body & paint are being done.:-k

As soon as my financial advisor comes home I'll ask nicely if I can go look at it. After I bought bass guitar #5 she's been concerned with my stupidity when it comes to money. Maybe she won't mind car #4....
