• Believe it was built for Drag-racing, but don’t think it ever got back into a car. Don’t know the specs/bore,etc…my friend the mechanic passed away, unfortunately.

The vin is on the right, passenger side just above the oil pan rail, like in the picture. Also can you post a better pic of the heads like between the spark plugs? Is there a X, or a J
in the head.

also the numbers cast on the side of the block is when the block was cast, then it needs to get machined, and then the engine is built weeks later
 
I realised after posting it is way to late to be from my car, but thanks.
Still, it came out of somebody's.
 
Here's the Stamped number on the Rail. The 'double-vision' quality of the photo is not from my photography....that is how the stamping got done at the factory. Anyway, it looks like it reads: 33596108, or 335961018, or335961013..... Tell me if you think differently. It's a jumble to me

How long has it been sitting since it ran? Is it in need of a rebuild?
