I know of some salvage yards in my area that have lots of MoPar 63-76 4-door cars with both nice interior and exterior parts....some have real nice door panels and trim specific to only 4 doors....is this stuff worth buying to save and pass along? I know it’s getting hard to even find 4-door only parts but is there people looking for them?

Lots of 73-76 beaker car parts too but don’t see anyone really looking for that stuff either....I hate seeing good parts going to waste....I’d be willing to grab a few things if someone needs them, shoot me a PM and I can look next time I go, thanks.

Is that French Lake? I was just there yesterday.

No ****....you were?!? What time? I was there yesterday too! Got there about 1 and stayed till about 5 when they closed.

I’m sure you seen this 66 there? There was also a 66 Polara convertible. Next time you go to a yard let me know....you were only 15 mins from my house! I plan to hit some more in my area too....love it but it’s muddy lol

I got there at 3:45 and was gone after an hour.

I didn't go back where the old Mopars are, but I did get shuttled to where all the old cars going to Sweden were, all makes but Mopars were included.

I’m surprised they let you two hooligans in!
Thanks for the compliment!

I would also love to see photos of any of the fender tags on any 1970 models still there.

That little Valiant next to the two Cudas is sweet! Not to mention the Cudas. A nicely setup 4 door could be a real sleeper!

Where i go.to escape first pic i knew it was French lake i nabbed the grill and side markers out of that white valiant lol

I made more money off my 69 valiant 4 door parts car than I have off my 68 dart hardtop so far right here on FABO. I’d buy them all up if the price was right.

All the front end sheet metal and grills and lights, clusters are well worth saving. Knobs and switches etc U get the most of it. Kim

yup, I know that stuff is good to grab but I mean the 4-door specific stuff....some of its pretty nice and hate to see it go to waste.

We were both there at the same time and left about the same time.... surprised we didn’t run into each other

As a four door lover , I know people are looking for door panels in nice shape
The aluminum sill plates in great shape
The beakers have the brougham edition with nicer seats and the pull type door panels
The four door custom trim has to be rare too.

There were good door panels in a 68 & 69 Dart, and a 63 & 70 Valiant....might have to grab them, they probably don’t repop these items. The 69 Dart was a custom model and had a fancier interior.

There are quite a few excellent dash frames and complete dashes there as well. A green one one almost perfect but had woodgrain and i didnt want that for my duster but boy was it nice

as bad as the few remaining that havent met the crusher yet are here around Chicago, I am real surprised to see recent pix from a junkyard even farther north, with these cars in better shape than same year cars around here looked 25 years ago.

What’s all that white slushy stuff on the ground around the cars? :)
Nice to see wrecking yards with cool stuff still in them. Out west here, yards are very quick to rotate inventory and make the scrap money! There are a few yards you can still get old car parts out here, but you need to mortgage your house first.

It blows my mind how cars that nice wind up in a scrap yard! That Valiant looks mint! Those 75 darts look ten times better that what I started with. Id love to have that grille out of the 75 but shipping would kill me coming that far plus its hard to know if it would make it in one piece
