I'm looking for a recommendation on a reputable shop or individual who can service the factory air on my 1965 Dart. I'd like someone who has experience working on old MoPar factory air and is willing to get my old stuff to work instead of automatically upgrading to newer non-original parts.

I have no idea how many years it's been since this thing worked. When I got it two years ago the belt was off the compressor, the heater core had failed long ago and all the hose connections had broken off the vacuum switch. I'm sure it hasn't worked in years.

I've already gone through the heater box and controls. I got a replacement vacuum control switch. The fan and all the doors are operating properly and I have heat . I can hear the compressor clutch clicking when it should. All the underhood plumbing is complete and I found an original drier instead of the smaller one someone stuck in its place years ago.

Now I need an AC specialist who can do whatever is they to do pressure test and charge the system.

I've read the three part article on Mopar Muscle about how Classic Auto Air can restore the lines, pump, and drier and I might want to go that route eventually. But for now I'd just like to learn if I have all the right stuff and if it will work as is. Then we can make it pretty later.
