Mopar guru alert

Thank you for the compliment.

To be fair though, I am not a guru. I am a historian & librarian.

No one knows everything there is to know about these cars.

I truly enjoy reading & researching the facts & whenever possible, sharing those facts.

The HH Library went online in 2005 & with a LOT of help from others, it has grown exponentially.

I hope it continues to grow for a very long time.

For everyone that has helped out along the way, I thank YOU!

We have had people volunteer pages in their collection & who have scanned items from all over the world.

Any grass roots effort starts with planting the seeds & then helping growth whenever possible.

I am glad that people read HH & use it for their own research, I truly am.

!!!HUH!!! I've wandered over there more than a few times. And I would add, !!THANKS!! for your efforts

There's a lot of very helpful people on here, this why in general this is a good site.........

Oh yea! There is a great group of guys here.
I live the work AndyF is doing with his stuff and publishing it for the world to see has been super awesome!
72blunblue knowledge with suspension and wheels is so super helpful.
Del is really good with the wiring. I’m ok with it but he just kills me.

I really dig sensible approaches to the general hot rodding & high performance crowd. Rusty Rat Rod, Moper ... long list here really..... LOL

I also like the time Ramm, IMM take to show and tell about there works and think the nit picking on there builds by armchair quarter backs is ridiculous and petty doing a disservice to all.

Questions about what there doing? Great!
Petty hair splitting, yawn.... yea, not so much.
Funny how you never see **** from that crowd.

I tend to look in the Lost and Found section whenever there's a new post there. Someone will post a VIN on a block and Barry will chime in and say, That's from a 70 Cuda. I'm like...how the heck does he know what type car?! I guess if I'd spend some time reading the 70 Registry Home page, I might be able to figure it out too. But I promise.....I will NEVER be able to write songs like he can!:D:p

Ha!

Some of my ballads on Moparts were quite popular. Clean lyrics that reflected my sense of humor.

I know a professional singer, I have been thinking about asking him to read some of my more serious originals that have never been seen in the public. He will be at Carlisle this summer.....

Most people into mopars who actively tinker mostly keep to themselves.
This site is a great way to get to share ideas and so on with people you wouldn't meet otherwise in most cases. Unique is an understatement for mopar people, some are possibly better off filtered through the internet, others its shame we cant drink and get fkd up while all helpin work on some field find.
There are a few people on here I respect as spot on contributors and others i respect as well knowledgeable site veterans. Then there are the *$&@ flies that buzz around the same member hitting the like button to anything they say... those consist mostly of dreamers and retirees who fund said members biz on a yearly basis. Jk..but there are many great folks here, even the ones who vote Democrat ...well , maybe not them.

Funny you mention that because you have a slightly darker view of sharing y builds with the know it alls and not pickers.

But have a Awesome time hanging with a few ultra low posting members from here shooting the ****, hosting BBQ/pool parties and going to there houses workin in cars from complete rip apartments to suspension or engine changes, etc....

Fixed .
I do all that, but not with mopar folks too often. Not many around my neck of the woods. Everyone has moved out of California or into family stuff... or just lame people you couldn't even pay me to be seen with.

Heck Rob, you could be a guru. You've been on the site and others for 20 yrs, right? Congratulations.

GURU?!?! LMAO!!!!

I guess from someone’s point of view i would be. Hey know a lot but don’t know a lot, but I’ll just say for all the time I’ve been here back when AdamR was the owner and ran the board, I would just speak and advise from a common sense point of view and thinking since for the longest time, my pockets never had money, just bunny ears.

I learn here. I enjoy it. I’m just looking forward to retirement in 19 months. From there, I might not be here to much but more at the track and at out of state gatherings. It’ll be time to travel the country in one of my MoPars. I want to tour the country in a circle and nail every state.

I was at Moparchat for about 10 years. Moved here and set up the lawn chair. Haven’t moved yet.

I avoid arrogant know it all that scoff at others cars and there all holy superior attitude. They love to brow beat others. This is so super opposite of myself and sickining to my stomach. I don’t understand where they get off. If your not helping and doing it nicely, then your part of the problem and are a true hinderance to others and those that may want to be part of it all but walk away from these I’ll folks.

Thanks brother.

Oh, a few of the fellas that are members here that I hang with blow my knowledge and experience out of the water like a nuke bomb on a paper boat.

LMAO, I’d be the dreamer and rookie wrench.

That reminds me...I used to ask the chicks in school if they'd kiss a rabbit between the ears and then pull my front pants pockets inside out.. haha

Maybe I am not using the word guru or failed to preface how I defined it here.

I looked up the definition & I think you nailed it, I am among other things a teacher.

The sad part though, is that there are some people in this hobby that have given themselves the title of 'Guru' when they have cheated & lied to people for monetary gain, making fake fender tags & so on. :-(
