And last night I forgot to turn off the lights in the shop so this afternoon I went out to turn off the lights and got to piddling around and installed the front cover, oil pickup and oil pan! I should leave the lights on more often!! Lol

Hey I used Fine Lines for my 74 duster build and they worked great. I also Swapped my 318 out for 360 and installed a TCI super streetfighter 727. My point is, my old drive shaft would not fit, si I ordered one from Drive Shaft Specialist out of Texas, They were awsome to work with and very professional in making sure you order the correct components. Check them out on-line. I will be at Nats this year as well.
 
I actually think I'm gonna be able to use my current drive shaft with the ax-15 then! The ax is about an inch longer than a 904 iirc and my driveshaft now is about 2" on the short side so I think it'll work pretty good!
 
Got the engine painted tonight! Hopefully finish painting the balancer, valve covers and misc brackets and getting the engine buttoned up this weekend or next week. Gotta save my money and get steering parts and then I can rebuild the front end.

It's comin along slowly but I don't think it'll be done for the Nats. We bought land that's 20 miles north of where we live and are putting up 2 chicken houses up and are gonna have to find a house and move up there by sometime in August so that's gonna take time and money and hurt the chances of getting the Duster done.
 
The duster will get done my friend, but life has to come first! You will succeed, and it will be awesome, you'll see!!! Keep up the good work! Geof
 
Moved right in the middle of my dart build, set it back a bit, but it's better when you get there! No worries on the nats, it happens every year!
 
Both of y'all are 100% correct! It'll get done! Hopefully in time to cruise b4 winter!!
 
Found $163 today that I forgot I had!! Just ordered my PST frontend kit about a minute ago!!
