I show the measurements as O.D. 13 1/4 on the top and I.D. of 5 inches for the carburetor plate.

You can get filters for that @ summit racing. I did and the have several heights available.

As far as I have searched and found, that would be a negitive. IMO, it should have been a 14" diameter to begin with.

I agree! I thot about buying one and machining the lip off the underside of it, and mounting it on my chrome top, but still undecided on my intake manifold. Have airfilter to scoop clearance problems anyway.
