I have a 340 10.7:1, crower stage 3 hydraulic cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads, 3.91 and 2500 converter. Question is should I need to mod the Mopar performance electronic setup? This unit has the orange box. The head specs state 34 total, but how soon? What should my vacuum advance be? The car is mainly street driven and will likely see 3 to 4 weekends at the strip annually.

If the orange box works, you're not gonna get much bang for your buck if you replace it. But...I put a Mallory 6AL box on my duster and it does give the car a much better idle with a big camshaft. Hard to tell if there is an overall performance improvement. Something similar would be the way to go if you decide to upgrade. That 34 degrees needs to be in by 2000 or so. Sounds like a nice package.
