Mopar Performance Valve Covers

I'm wondering if anyone has sand/media blasted the black paint off of the black wrinkle Mopar Performance valve covers? If so, what was the result? I have an old set and was curious if they could be blasted and polished? I don't want to destroy them and would sell them and buy the polished ones before I mess these up. Thank you
