Mopars at street rod nationals kick off, pictures included

The Street Rod Nationals start early and last night was a beautiful night to start what is the biggest car show in the area.

There will be 10,000 plus cars at the KY fairgrounds this week. They have opened it up to allow cars 30 years and older in. I will be taking the Dart again this year. I called Tony to see if he wanted to come down for some fish at Mike Linnings

Got some pictures of a few of the cars at the kick off. My guess there were over 500 cars there not many Mopars but some really nice ones.

Maybe a favorite would have been Gary's 19,000 mile GTS. The guy that owned it was put in jail and it sat in a garage covered with blankets for over 40 years

I used to go to that show every year. Back when it was pre 48 cars. I lost interest in car shows but that was always a great one...besides all the cookie cutter street rods. Keep posting pics though!

Thelma made my day today. She drove the 'Cuda back from Larry & Sue's in Sellersburg
to our house here in Columbus. I gave her an A+:D

This was her first time to drive the 'Cuda.

Had a great time at Mike Lennigs. Lots of great cars.

Wildcat I wish I would have known y'all were here .The wife and I have been having a hankerin for some mike linnings.We would have came out to meet with you and Tony...............................................Jeff
 
Would have been great for you and the mrs. had came up.

There are so few Mopar owners in the area, did get to see and talk to Gary, seems like a great guy and VERY LUCKY! What a car he has.

Will be out cruisin around the fairgrounds in the a Dart. Tony may come back down and join me for a day.

I'm thinking if I can get him to come down for Saturday Mopar Country show in a show.

Awesome to see Tony & Thelma out with the Cuda :D Of course she got an A+...Piece of cake to drive that beauty :)
