more alternator ???????

can the alt. i have be converted to a 1 wire? right now i have the bat. wire and one field wire. also, i have a kill switch in the back. after i go to a 1 wire, could i use this same switch to kill the alt. ? thank you

why not just buy a single wire alternator and mount it to your kill switch. no I dont think the switch will kill the alternator if you kill the switch.youll kill the alternator when ya twist the kill switch in the rear tho. need more info on your intentions oiiiii

the alt you have cannot be converted to a 1 wire , you will ne to buy one... the switch you have in the back can be used if you run the output for the alt to the battery side of the switch. you will need to run a big (8 gauge or heavier wire) from the alt to the switch
