Hello everyone, well i recently bought an 05 hemi truck that was wrecked but the motor, trans, wiring, and basically everything I need to do a hemi swap is in perfect condition. Not to mention that it only has 49k on it. Well this hemi will be going into my 92 dakota and then another hemi will be purchased to go into my dart :cheers: So now I have some questions, and need some clarity on what i am researching. I want to change the intake manifold over from the truck to the car. My understanding is that ill need the intake manifold, timing cover and water pump from the car and thats it. Plus relocating the accessories. Is this correct? Im also curious about this coil swap that ive been reading about. What is the deal with it, pros/cons? Also where would be the best place to get some wiring diagrams for both vehicles? I have more questions I just can't think of them right now, thank you in advance for any help.

I like your plans.
Remember the accesories arre different too, so you need car stuff also. I don't know about harnesses, but If it turns out you need one, I was gonna sella 2005 car harness on ebay or here soon. As far as the coil swap, the reason I was gonna do it was for looks... to get rid of the spark plug wires over the intake... (I dont know of other pros/cons) You need coils, valvecovers, and connectors on the harness. I believe you have to modify the ECU or find a later one so the spark goes where you want it.
try searching for factory service manuals for wiring... I am sure somebody here will know more.

i have the manuals you need. the problem is i cannot email them the files are too large. if you wantit ill send it to you but i need a memory card or thumb drive to send it on. if you have a micro memory card for a phone it would be easy to drop in an envelope and send to me i could put the info on it and send it back and youwould only be out the stamp on your end ill pay the shipping on my end lol. let me know if your intrested and we can make it happen. i have the 03, the 04, and 05 truck manuals as well as the 05 car manual. these are the service manuals straight from the dealer. they are about 3000+ pages long. in a pdf file.
