For sending out an intake with such a suck azz plenum. Enlarge that photo and look at the sharp turn.

Are you going to take your Roto-Rooter to that and smooth it up or are you going to leave that sharp edge?
Are the valve adjusters long enough?

Something looks wrong there doesn’t it. He may sell it for the asking price but I hope someone does some reworking.

The sharp turn induces a bunch of sheer on the air and fuel but yet guy I know have run low 10’s with the MP-W2-OOTB.

Food for thought below…. Enjoy!

Yep, I think I hurt an intake moving the plenum around. I’ll have to weld it up and fix it to see what happens.

Sharp edges aren’t always bad.

What intake? If it was a TQ pad, I wouldn’t be so keep on making the mods myself so quickly without a flow bench. On a squarebore, it’s a little more straight forward. Being that I never ported the plenum of an intake, I have no advice to hand out.

@pittsburghracer ported my standard LA M1 single plane intake. He has a thread on it. Flow tested with before and after numbers. You can read about it here;

Some M1 porting pictures and flow numbers

Yup, TQ pad. I usually make them square but I tried a different approach. Evidently it didn’t work. I need to weld it up, make it square and test it again.

I’d still like to find one reasonably priced for my son in Colorado. I think that intake would be perfect for him.
