motor mounts

ok well i just got some transdapt motor mounts to put the v8 in /6 k-member and they didn't send the directions to show which mount goes on which side..... i need to know by tomorrow so i don't have to try the whole trial and error thing which mount goes where i have the larger bigger mount that bolts up with 4 bolts and then the thinner one that has three bolt holes..... please if someone could give me a DEFINATE answer that would be good to help me get that engine in... thanks

Looks like the short one goes on the left.

Don't forget the slant 6 tranny or bellhousing will nt work with the V8.

What year engine/tranny are you using?

The short one does go on the passenger side. The truck/big mount goes on the drives side. That's right, you can use a truck/van mount on the driver side to do this swap.

well thanks guys the engine is going in tomorrow morning finally after 4 months of waiting lol..... im putting a slightly beefed up 72 318 and 904 tranny in a 71 swinger.... soon to swap the 904 with a 727 as soon as i get the extra money to rebuild it
