Motor mounts?

When putting a 340 in for the 318, will I need new motormounts? I think I heard I do, but not really sure. Thanks, Dave

The driverside bracket to the motor is differant. Just make a spacer or use a stck of washers.

Yes, you will need new mounts, the drivers side is different! But if you have two passanger side mounts from a 318 it will work, my father has a 67 Cuda that had a 318 in it and thats what I used to put a 340 in it!! Shumacker has mounts that you can buy, but the 318 mounts are a hole lot cheaper! hope this helps! :salut:

I replaced the 318 in my 73 scamp with a 360 and saved a boatload of $$$ on motor mounts with 3 washers.
