motorhome 727

i have a motorhome 727 with the e brake on the end can i just get a differnt tail section. theres 727s at my local pick n pull. i want to keep it it was rebuilt but if its to much of pain to change over.

it has to come completey taken apart. the out-put shaft will have to be changed too.

The motorhome trannys are good ones. Built heavier 4 gear planetarys instead of 3 for one thing. May also have a lower 1st gear set.

like the whole tranny or where that tail un bolts from the front part ?

The hole entire trans has to come apart. The output shaft slides out the front.

Get Another Tranny As A Core And Have It Changed Over As Long As Its A 727 Big Or Small Block Makes No Difference,tailshafts And Internals Will Be Same, But The Short Ones Are Good Ones Internally As Stated, Will Have To Be Completely Dismantled As Stated..........
