MP sub-frame connector clearance issue (e brake cable)

I have only held them up in place to check fitment, etc, so far looks to me like the emergency brake cable is routed thru the frame directly where the atatchment plate goes. Its a little annoying that the instructions make no mention of the cable routing issue.

Aside from the cable being in the way, I'm not sure which connector is left - or which is right. There is definitely a left and right connector...

Any suggestions on the brake cable location?
