Just finished installing these adjustable 4 ft LEDs in my storage shed.
These are set to a coupla klicks from brightest.
Rip out ballast, line voltage up to 277.
Very nice .

Crazy-sounding question, but do they cause any interference with FM radios?

I ask because a case of similar (non-adjustable) lamps I got on Amazon a few years ago do.
I installed them all way up high in my barn, and now you can see what you're doing, or listen to the radio, but not both.

Yeah. You turn on the lights and the radio buzzes, like in the old days when you were listening to the Lone Ranger and mom turned on the vacuum cleaner.

Sylvania is (Was) a good brand but now made in China. I hope they last more than 6 months. I had a bad experience with Chinese made bulbs a long time ago & left a bad feeling about anything made there to this day.
 
I looked online for these tubes, found Amazon Canada and US listed them for near $50 a tube, I went to local jobber electrical supplier for some 4 ft reg bright tubes, the dude said why LED better.
I said I wasn't up to paying big bucks, he said how bout the tubes I showed above for $12 a tube, cuz he doesn't carry reg tubes anymore, everyone, contractors, electricians, - saves time and money by just cutting/splicing a few wires, and controlled brightness for everyone.
Toss the ballast or just leave it disconnected.
Win, win, win.

Just so you know $12ish a tube Canadian.
PS haven't had a chance to get a fm radio in yet.

I'm also curious, I can't move the Chally in the pic, and haven't a portable radio without a car, lol.

Good ol' school static.
Not a 60cy hum, not a whine, just crunchy, snowy static, with the FM still audible at a lower level in the background.

NM cable, standard 48" fluorescent steel housings, all properly grounded, switched with GE latching relays in each lamp case, controlled with 24v.

Can't say whether they would still do that through conduit or armored cable.

Looking for some shoplights that, 1) Work in the cold, and 2) Don't "buzz" the FM radio dial either, so...

Wow, I can see into corners I didn't even know I had !
Got all but one lights done, so very, very bright.
I can't believe I worked in there all these years, just wow.

I have all but 3 turned up to 1 click shy of full, it's wonderful.
I left 3 at 3 clicks down from full, and they are definitely a little duller and "pinker" by just a bit.
I never tried them lower, cuz that ladder was getting to be a challenge, maybe tomorrow.

There is absolutely no radio interference on fm, the radio and slight buzz from 1 remaining ballast is all I can hear.

These are made in China, buy before prices double+.

Hmmm. I don’t think I’ve owned an FM radio for 25 year other than what’s in the car and don’t use.
