I got to admit that I've been getting a little bored with et racing. So I signed up for Arm Drop Live event here in Woodburn Or July of 08.
It's a new type of racing where they take 128 racers and run them against each other with Rich's crew picks the time you have too run, they put 12-13 cars in 10 lanes. All the crs in each lane are in about the same time,ie 9.5 to 10. cars in 1 lane and then they go from there and they runthe lanes against each other till the lane ends and then they will go lane against lane.
I had a 9.50 sec car and had to go against slower cars all day as I qualified #2 and put the #1 qualifyer out in the 1st round.
I made it to the semi fimals before losing. This has re-energised my racing schedule as I'll hopefully run 5-6 of his events this year.

Putting the #1 qualifyer on the trailer.Rich posted a 9.70 on the board

That's not good! What's the builder going to do about it?

Napa built me another engine. They stepped up to the plate.

Congratulations, at least you lost 1st place to another Mopar. It`s all good! That engine faux pas was a real bummer, I can`t believe that thing didn`t sound like a diesel from day 1. At least they`ve acknowledged their mistake and did the right thing.

I,ve entered Arm Drop Live for the weekend of June 6/09 at Toronto Motorsports Park (Cayuga Speedway) in Ontario.Don,t expect to win just going for the fun of it,the crowd, cars, and ofcourse the women.Should be a fun weekend.Last year was alittle long do to rain delays, but all was good!

We were there and saw this race. This car is the S*!t. We are building a Dart ourselves and would be nice some day to line up next to you and have you blow our doors off. But if we were ever be able to get to that class MAYBE we could at least show some competition.

While I have your attention, what type of ignition set up are you running. I still need to get something going for ours.

Got more pics of Deb? Oh and that car thing was preaty cool to.

I'm running a Msd 6al with a 2 step for the transbreak and a Msd distributor and coil.
As always if you see the car, come on over to the pits.

I beat that race car with our yellow duster.........kinda lol. We were doing the street legal drags and I got to line up against my dad driving the race car and I was in the duster(yellow car with flames on the side). They had moved into eliminations and I thought we were still just running. Anyways did a good burnout hooked really hard and i was thinking damn I tree'd him like a big dog anyways I grabbed 2nd car felt good then in my rearview I saw him do a huge wheelie:burnout:( i originally thought he had broke or something cause he wasnt going when I did). I was like row faster row faster come on car go go go! Well anyways getting passed by a mid 9 sec car while driving a low 12sec car is really something to be experienced, its like I dropped the anchor lol. Anyways, I beat him to the stripe but found out I had redlighted when I got my slip so I lost but I still give him a hard time about it just makes the racing more fun:poke:. Seeing the car doing a wheelies in my rearview was really cool too, it looks pretty impressive. And yea if you see us there swing by, we usually have a bbq going and a cooler full of cold beverages so swing by.
Cheers,
Marvin
